Day 1 – Start of Our 2013 National Park Road Trip

We rented a car and officially started our two-month national park road trip today.  I’m super excited!

We first stopped over at REI.  Unfortunately we couldn’t take advantage of the clearance sale.  Zero size is still too big.  Uh!!!

Nevertheless, we caught sight of our first beautiful sunset at Klamath Lake, OR – after 6 hours non-stop driving.  Can’t believe we went that far already, just in day 1.
