Landscape Photography Tips At Yosemite
I decided to wrap up my year with a landscape photography trip to Yosemite National Park with my good friend Urapa who visited from Thailand and wanted to see snow.
We both bought some new gear before the trip - she got the snow boots and a new lens, and I bought a new tripod (Mefoto Global Trotter) - see How to Choose A Tripod. So you know how excited we were!
It turned out that weather was quite "friendly" to us - there wasn't that much snow and it felt pretty warm. Nevertheless, we managed to drive 1 hour distance to the park valley every morning and set up our gear 20-30 minutes before sunrise.
I have to admit it was one of my most diligent landscape photo trips (given I am not an early riser). I was happy with the views I captured every morning and evening, and the little snow hike here and there. Of course this means more landscape photography tips as well.
