Day 6 – Kootenai Falls Hike

Kootenai National Forest is officially the 5th national forests we have visited in this trip (not counting those we just drove through). We took a moderate 5 to 6 mile hike on the mountains near Kootenai Falls, and went off track somewhere after climbing to the top of the mountain.

We didn’t realize this until we went downhill and almost reached the water again, but the mountain lake view was more than nice enjoyment.
