Master Bedroom & Bath 

Goal

• Need to increase closet / wardrobe space

• Improve bathroom layout for user convenience

Layout change option 1

• Change bathroom door open direction

• relocate toilet, vanity, tub and shower

• have tub instead of toilet in front of the window

Layout change option 2

• move the entrance to the bathroom from the closet, close the current bathroom entrance

• move the bed to the east wall

• build ceiling high wardrobe to increase closet space and storage

• either way, move the current toilet away from the window, either a separate shower or tub/shower combo is acceptable

If the remodel cost is similar for option 1 & 2, we definitely would choose option 2.
