Why do my kids sometimes carry my tripod or camera backpack on hikes?

What does October look like? Apparently, it depends on where you are.

Mine has looked like tropical Hawaiʻi, fall colors in Washington, wintry scenes in Norway, Alaska and Argentina, summer city life in Europe, and high-altitude landscapes in Peru
