flowers at Kaweah Lake
One of my most commented photos on FlickrI was hiking in my snowshoes for the entire afternoon to see General Sherman and some of world’s largest sequoia trees at Sequoia National Park.
I encountered the most challenging driving condition in the foggy mountains. There were moments I did not know where the cliff was exactly on my right, left or ahead of me, but I knew the scene behind the fog was well worth the risk. It was an intense drive.
When I finally came out of the mountain, it was already evening. I seemed to have passed through Kaweah Lake at the perfect time. The evening clouds were so low that they shadowed over the entire lake and the wavy mountains in the far background. The colors and shadows looked so dramatic. It felt like paradise.
For over a decade, I have been crazy about traveling and seeing the world. I was lucky enough to have set my foot steps onto some beautiful places – oftentimes one might remind me of another, despite of their location differences. I wonder if I would ever happily dwell in such a beautiful paradise like Kaweah Lake, and stop moving to another destination… Will the next be just different, or better?
