Barcelona is the 6th, and the last stop of our 6-week family trip in Europe in the summer of 2018.

I’ve skipped Basel, the 3rd stop, in our video story. My husband and I each took a kid with different agenda on a couple of days - he visited his friend on the Germany side while my 3 year old and I wandered around Basel old town. I had to pay attention to a toddler and a stroller, so no videos.

Anyway, back to Barcelona. It was my 3rd visit over the past 16 years. I still was impressed by Gaudi and was constantly in awe looking at his works. But we got pickpocketed twice over two days - which was quite shocking. Fortunately, we were safe and nothing major other than cash was stolen.

We wrapped up our trip in the French national anthem on the final day of the World Cup. It was quite a scene on the beach, and added some unique historic flavor to our trip.
