Today’s sunset at Paradise Ridge Winery, Sonoma, CA. After 2 sunsets at Lake Tahoe, I decided to photograph the wine country today. I was super lucky that the winery was hosting a big fund raising dinner event this evening and thought I was one of the guests after its office hour.

This image was taken at 6:34pm, 4 minutes after sunset, facing southwest. ISO100, 24mm, f/22, 8 sec. I want to capture the vine line. Also I waited till after sunset to avoid flare.

This one was taken at 6:41pm, 11 minutes after sunset, facing more toward west. ISO100, 52mm, f/22, 15 sec. I want to have more even sky colors – facing west is the best way to achieve that.
